We dined here for the first time last night and were impressed. The restaurant has a darling setup with comfortable tables and benches. The food was delicious, though some items we wanted were not available. Service, as noted by others, is slow, though it was most notable when it took 5 minutes for someone to come open the door so we could get in during a light rain. We will be back.

I went there with students from my university for Women's Day and the food was phenomenal. I had to stop myself from getting more food because I had to eat "properly" .

I enjoyed a lovely dinner at Ivy’s Kitchen with my wife. She ordered chicken curry with pap and I had sheep tripe with rice. We also ordered a side of chakalaka. All the food was delicious and priced reasonably. The decor was lovely and the service good. The only downside was that we were the only customers dining in the restaurant. Besides us, there was a steady stream of motorcycle drivers picking up food deliveries. This detracted from the mood for me.

Wonderful staff, incredible food, affordable priced, beautiful decor. Had the oxtail head (amazing, rich taste and tender texture), chakalaka (the best), braai meat, steamed bread and spinach.
